1. Black Friday yielded some pretty dang good sales, and I managed to get nice presents for both of my cutie patootie nieces that I’m positive they will love! Girls are so much fun!!
2. I went to the Border’s to buy my son’s some books, and found that kids still love the classics from the eighties: Bunnicula, Choose Your Own Adventure, and Superfudge. I’m so glad my boys won’t be deprived of these.
3. I have an idea for a brand new YA vampire story, and today my lovely Leah helped me by letting me yack about it over Starbucks Eggnog Lattes.
4. I entered Heart on Fire in a spur of the moment contest that was low on YA entries. (This is exciting because I had originally planned to enter it in the Golden Heart, but I don’t have my synopsis done yet. This contest doesn’t need the synopsis unless you final. So I’ve got time to pull it together.)
5. As you can see I have a new YA blog layout! I love everything about it except that part about losing all my widgets by accident while I was editing the html to make my columns wider… Even though I backed up my original html, I can’t seem to figure out how to get them back. Hmph. I’m trying to look on the bright side and take this time clean up my link lists as some of my links were defunct blogs, and ones I don’t read much anymore. But right now, I’m pooped.
I used to love those choose your own adventure books.
